I have always bought the expensive special hardwood floor cleaner from the flooring store. They are often out of it which means I have not had cleaner when I have run out. Never fear, Andrea Jean is here! I love, love, love this and hearing that others have used it on their floors makes me happy because I am going to have clean hardwood floors!

I cleaned homes for 33 years, and Murphy's Oil Soap is what I liked to use,and it smells great! I had a few clients that were afraid to let me use it because they thought it would streak, but if you use a small amount in warm water,it doesn't streak. A great product! I love your channel! ¼ cup of Murphy oil to a gallon of water is a perfect consistency. Here's a little hack, I use those little cups that comes with the Tide laundry detergent as my guide, it's perfect. It comes with numbered lines on the cup, 1-5. Well I measured it and 4 is equivalent to a ¼ cup. So pour Murphy's to the 4 line to a gallon. Here's the hack or guide, pour Murphys to the 1 line and pour it into an old windex 32fl. Bottle and you'll have a mini spray bottle for small jobs. I use a dry sweeper swifter pad and bammm. On a previously cleaned for, meaning, I moped and cleaned with a gallon. I'll use a clean mop, I'll wet it and wringe it out, for a "dry mop" (lightly wet) and I'll use my spray bottle on "Stream"...... it works like a dream. House smells like light citronella and floors, laminate, hardwood, and kitchen tiles, shine without the stickiness. Remember, measurements are important for the BEST RESULTS. happy cleaning

Waxing floors won’t brink a shine They need a professional cleaning with scrubbing machines and a dissolver then they get it all picked up and then mop with water very little water dry and the next thing is applying polyurethane I prefer oil base but they have water base now that cost a lot more that seems to do a great job and it dries in a few hours. Oil base dries in 24 hours and it needs two coats.

One of the BEST products I found if you have older floors that could use a little tlc and one application lasts through several normal cleanings.
