Boil water, add in gold jewellery, add a little baking soda when the water is boiling, simmer for about 1 minute until the dirt comes out, turn off the flame and soak for 5-10 mins, take some dish washing liquid or any mild soapy solution, use a soft brush to gently rub the jewellery, rinse thoroughly with plain water, dry with clean cloth or tissue paper. Done.

I do this always, if your rings are really dirty leave them to soak for a few hours ( not on the stove top!) Dishwasher powder works really well.

You should NEVER use boiling water on colored gems.! I noticed some gems that looked like rubies. The har can cause cloudiness in any colored gems which depreciates the value dramatically. It can also cause cracks or breaking from extreme heat. Only diamonds and sapphires should be cleaned in boiling hot water.. ijs...🤷🏼‍♀️ Great video though.! Thanks so much.!
