Man I had a 12 hour job I had to do last week for a customer my brother in law referred to me. I only had 1 day to do it because she was doing an open house the next day and it had some lines but I did the best I could with what I had and the amount of time I had, I just try and get jobs on the side and that was the first one I've done in months. This will help out a lot for future cleanings! Thanks!

Was that a 12v sprayer being used on roof?
@tomcorwine30919 ай бұрын
I find the same applies to using a pressure tip, not just a surface cleaner. Useful on curbs or other non-flat surfaces. Sweep one direction, then 90 degrees in the other direction. #lines

Justin for someone looking to start a pressure washing business with somewhat limited budget would u recommend getting electric power washing/surface cleaning tools or gas powered, (just for starting out)

I'm no pro, but I did this in high school during the summer and made good money. Everything I ever saw before starting said 3k PSI minimum, and 2.4ish (I think) gpm or more. And I never saw an electric one that could push that. I'd say gas engine is minimum. There's also something called "cleaning units" or something, which is an equation involving both psi and gpm to find the "cleaning units". There's an accepted "minimum" for that. Just do a few basic google searches. Personally, I'm using a Honda powered washer. It was about 300 for the washer and a surface cleaner attachment. Off the top of my head, I remember it being 3k psi and 2.4 or 2.5gpm. Something around there. And it was great on gas I also have some tips for safely and cleanly hauling it around in a coupe or a sedan. I did it the whole summer cuz I drove an Si coupe. But I'd fit everything I needed to wash in the car and had no problems. Don't always need a truck 🤝

I may have missed it but what concentrate mixture do you use with your bleach application?
@MSBJJ

He likely used a 1% mix. Here is your formula: A/BxC = how much SH to use. A is the amount of mix you want in the end. If you have a 2 gallon sprayer, this will be 2. B is the % strength of your SH. if you're using 10% bleach, then B will be 10. C is the desired strength to end up at. Generally 1% is what I use for siding and concrete. I'll do 3-5% depending on severity for brick/stone/roofs. In this case I'll assume 1% for a driveway, so C would be 1. This means the formula would be: 2/10x1=.2 gallons (25.6oz) of your SH, then fill the rest of a 2 gallon pump sprayer with water (1.8 gallons of water). Hope this helps!

How can I remove streaks leftover from a pressure washer? Contractor thought cleaning our patio with a pressure washer was a good idea, new concrete 2-3 months old

🚨 Hey man… can you please tell me how much store-bought bleach I should add to a gallon of water if I’m gonna use a pump up sprayer? Or shock from my pool store.??

Depends on what % is your goal. Here is your formula: A/BxC = how much SH to use. A is the amount of mix you want in the end. If you have a 1 gallon sprayer, this will be 1. This means the formula would be: 1/10x1=.1 gallons (12.8oz) of your SH, then fill the rest of a 1 gallon pump sprayer with water (.9 gallons of water). Hope this helps!
