Hadrian HELP! I found a Dooney and Bourke Geranium Basket tote online in the wee hours of this morning that I'll need to rehab. Do you have any experience touching up areas of coated canvas? I'm a pretty good artist but in want to know if you think deglazing the corners is a good idea or not? And what should I use to seal the corners once I paint them with Angelus paint? Thanks for another great rehab purse.

Hey Hadrian! How do you clean the interiors? I purchased a coated canvas and leather dooney & bourke tote online and it was so dirty. I watched a lot of you tube videos and then I attempted to clean the inside of the bag and unfortunately it saturated the leather trim and caused discoloration transfer from the leather to the bag lining. At least it’s clean now but I’m not sure it’s in overall better condition. Any advice?

Hi! Oh yes, it's always a little tricky to clean the interiors of bags, especially when the bags are leather and prolonged exposure from the moisture of cleaning the fabric can damage it. I usually use wipes. And I always make sure not to over saturate the fabric. Some bags you can turn the lining inside out and I pull it out and clean and allow to dry before putting the lining back inside.

Yes, this product can, but you have to be very careful with it. Use a cotton swab and dab very lightly and carefully.
Honestly, I SEE NO DIFFERENCE.
