In the back of the tank there was something to rest on, they have new setup now with a basking area and filters

It looks like a fresh water turtle, fresh water being ironically less fresh looking than salt water.... just saying try going outside of the city for once to a lake or stream jazmin lol XD

Would the baking soda and hydrolich acid mix, put with toothpaste and left to bake in the son work for the sock part?

Im not sure I haven’t tried that, I would apply blue detergent to it and leave in the sun then rinse
