Been struggling with signal drop-out for months now. I was basically at my wit's end before I found this video. Cleaned the connectors with mineral oil as suggested, but with low expectations. 4 hour rehearsal last night, no drop out at all for the first time since I bought them. Thank you.

Can I use 70% isopropyl alcohol instead of mineral oil for the mmcx connectors?

Try getting 90% or higher. This is what I have been using for ages.

I would be afraid of the alcohol breaking down any protective (e.g.: tarnish proofing) coating.

It's the dish soap that veterinarians classically use to clean birds after an oil spill!

I wonder if you inadvertently pushed some debris deeper in. Their customer service is pretty helpful if you shoot them an email.

Good earphones but pretty poorly made if wax can get right into the nozzle that you can't get out which then ruins the earphones. You think after all this time they would re-design them instead of just adding a filter on some of the ear sleeves.
