The sticky tack worked great! My right AirPod has been really quiet for months and almost unusable but now it is good as new

Gaurantee if you took out the mesh there would still be tons of wax in there

@@Li_Am_17 yupp...trust me just get some sharp tweezers and pull out the mesh and you’ll see all that nasty build up in there. Clean it all out and boom good as new.

Also, I’m not one to leave comments, but I’ve been binging all of your videos and it’s great. I didn’t think cleaning vida could be so inspired haha. My friend left their AirPod case at my house and it’s pretty filthy so I want to clean it for them before giving it back. This helped with the headpieces, but the case is pretty tricks! Please advise!!!

I didn’t believe this until I tried it wow!!! ❤ also I never knew AirPods had a glue cover inside of it. It came off while I used alcohol with a cue tip but i put it back on. There was build up in the wax. Thank you so much.

I did that w the sticky tack and it got inside my airpod, now it muffles

i tred this thinking my airpods were dirty they were so i did thias it worked for my left airpod but then i realized my right airpod is just broken

Loc-tite.. They also now have some of this substance specifically branded to clean AirPods now. It's essentially sticky putty. I wet mine first however as sometimes, it can stick to the grill and clog the AirPods. You can use more Loc-tite or fun-talk to get it out though but it's a pain.

Why do you care how wet or damp the Q-tip is? It’s isopropyl alcohol. It doesn’t affect electronics. The only reason you’d be concerned if it’s under 70%...

I use a square wax or smh like that and it’s now stuck in my airpords what can I do?

Use 99 percent cleaning alcohol

Do NOT use hand sanitizer. I use to do this all the time. It dries into gel when it’s done causing the gel to block sound

This is 2 years of wax build up probably, trust me you cannot prevent it

Me who take facial tissues and clean without anything and they realy got clean

You can clean the outer ear but not the earcanal, but they get pretty filthy if u use them all day and sleep with them in

Genuinely how do peoples ears make airpods so dirty? Why are you all so gross.. I’ve worn mine every day for over a year and never cleaned them once, there’s some fluff on them, one piece of fluff. Please wash your ears 😂

i just have naturally waxy ears even when i clean mine often.. i cant do anything about it.

Those earwaxes clean your ears, you cant stop the normal ear discharge. You cant avoid getting your airpods dirty.
