Yes, from both sides of the house, I have added extra layers to prevent the rain from coming in. It won't be like that, forever, I have put temporary DCP sheets.

Is the IMO not harmful to the pigs when they lick on the wood shavings

Not at all, infact, the IMO even prevents diarrhoea in pegs. On top of spraying, it has a mixture for drinking too. Thanks for the comment
