Dionne Frey Hmm, I've never seen one in person, so I'm not sure! You could at the very least do the vinegar rinse and the thorough cleaning of the outside of the machine.Thanks for watching!

Thanks for sharing. My Keurig 2.0 reminded me it was time for "Descaling" and boy was I confused. I went to Keurig.com as noted and the solution was $12.99. Then I thought, "let me go to KZread" I know there's somebody using plain ol vinegar. lol

I clean our monthly. Due to our hard water, its best to clean it monthly. We have rust and high minerals. I refuse to buy water because our natural water is already the best water possibly anywhere. Living in northern Michigan , we have good spring water and it has no taste. Its just natural to have high mineral content here. Vinegar works best and if cleaned regularly, your machine will be fine.
