I know two lefties and just once we (for fun) paired them together. These guys had NEVER played on the other side before. Pretty fun to see actually, we rights are somewhat used to switching it up but they never do for obvious reasons. Even though it was easy to defeat because of this, the experience of playing two lefties is weird. The same spins as you are used to when playing a normal righty couple but in reverse. PS. I just wanna add that in the two righty scenario and equally bad (Or good) I would still suggest placing the most aggressive player on the left.

Lefty here and just to try i played with an other lefty when i came across one. still won because nobody is prepared for that haha normaly playing on the right with a righthanded player thanks for the view on who takes the lob it helped a lot

That’s why, let’s be honest, on my level, amateur, is so boring playing on right side, you barely play, you constantly defending, and trying to take less risks possible, otherwise to high chances to make mistakes if both players take initiatives. I’m a bored right player…

I have been playing quite a lot on the right recently and I love it! It is easier to go faster on the bandejas and I quite like setting up the point and opening up spaces. You can definitely be agressive on the right! Look at Lebron 🙌

I shouldn’t look at Lebron, he’s one out of thousands right player. If i have to take examples, i take, Chingo, Di nenno, Sanyo, those are right players. Their job is to defend the shoulders of the left player, being there, less mistakes. Of course, you must like it, but it can be boring and limited it. So my conclusion is: a good left player can win a match on his on, a good right player is not enough.

I disagree. Firstly, Sanyo is one of the most aggressive right side players. On the other hand, Dineno and Chingo have amazing game styles. They receive more balls than their partners, how can that not be fun? 😜

I played padel for the 4th time today, and tried the right side for the first time and I liked it way more than I expected. Yes I moved way less, but for some reason defense was way better (except when the ball was close to the side glass)

Everyone should see this. It’s annoying play with people that plays in the right as a leftie…
