In first 2 attempts- I gave without preparing much, was just out of college with no background, didn’t get the syllabus, did not prepare for mains. In my opinion, First you should give one year to preparation and then give the attempt.

Ma'am, please make a video on the topic wise, detailed syllabus of pre and mains. As it is somewhat difficult to understand the prelims syllabus bcoz it is mentioned very shortly, and even after reading the syllabus, it is hard to choose the relevant topics to study.

Can you please talk about PLAN B during the preparation. Being aware of the uncertainity of the examination, it gives us a constant pressure if we have only selection through this examination as the only career option. It's been bothering me and I'm guessing this is the case with many other aspirants as well who start their preparation right after graduation. It would of great help if you can talk about how to deal with such mentally draining thoughts?

Keeping a Plan B is good but if you are young enough like 21 or 22 then you should dedicatedly prepare for this examination at least for 2 attempts after that you need to think for backup.

Mam I am fresher ...1st I choose PSIR optional after the analysing I found I have no intrust but am a medical student so after the analysing Anthropology previous year really helps me to understand these syllabus ❣️

Graduation third year. The only thing you can do right now is make a habit of reading newspapers and understand their sections Be familiar with the words and concepts If there’s anything related to GDP, then try to understand what is GDP This will help later on when you start preparing Preparation of UPSC from now will be exhaustive if you’re not able to clear in first attempt after such 3-4 years preparation You’ll be demotivated , what you have prepared in 3-4 years, you have to adapt new pressure of preparing it in just one year. One and half year is enough You can go through newspaper and in graduation go through optional..
