What about the elbow crutch? I started using one a few years ago and find it ideal. Since I do not like the "orthopaedic appliance" look of most of them I have made my own, and just like my former canes, I use antler and willow which gives a very distinctive look. Indeed I would say that almost every time I go out somebody complements me on it or asks me where I got it and I enjoy telling them that I made it from wood that I had grown in my hedge. It is certainly a great conversation piece. I make the cuff from brass and leather.

That sounds absolutely fantastic! Crafting your own elbow crutch from natural materials like antler and willow is not only creative but also adds a unique and personal touch to your mobility aid. It's wonderful to hear that you've found it ideal for your needs and that it sparks conversations wherever you go. Using materials grown in your own hedge adds an extra layer of meaning and sustainability to your creation. Keep up the great work, and we're sure your handmade crutch will continue to turn heads and inspire admiration wherever you take it!

Good videos. If there are no strength issues or leg pain; if the problem is position sense, due to inner ear problems or neurologic disease, a straight, light cane can be useful and sufficient to help maintain balance.

You're absolutely right. In cases where strength or leg pain isn't the primary concern, it is best to use whatever is more comfortable to balance. We encourage anyone facing such specific challenges to consult with healthcare professionals for personalized advice on choosing the most suitable cane for their needs. Thank you for watching and we will be posting more tutorials every week!

The straight cane really hurts my palm after while. The curved fits much better into the center of my hand.

We completely understand. It's crucial to find the right cane that provides both comfort and support. The straight cane might put more pressure on specific areas, leading to discomfort. It's great that you've found the curved one to be a better fit for the center of your hand. Finding the right balance between functionality and comfort is key to ensuring a more pleasant experience. Feel free to reach out if you need any further assistance. Thank you for watching!

They make a great cane. I had to wait 2 months to get it, but it was well worth the wait. The only thing I'm having an issue with now is I ordered an ambulantory mobility card and a cane care kit and I got an email saying that it can take anywhere from 21 days and maybe another 10 days just to get an ambulatory card and Cane care kit.??? They don't have to make it so I don't understand that. ?

Hi Keith dont think I Had the opertunity to tell you I am now a second degree black belt and the dojos highest student I am only eligble for one more stripe it seems as it seems they have a rule you can be promoted higher than the instructor any way I am doing my best to be an assisant instructor since you are an instructor you know the story of potential about Einstein or if you dont know it he has a form of autistm of asperegers and while he failed math the belief is of course you dont focus on the one thing he got wrong you focus on the many things we got right ? in fact in our dojo in what they call the rules for marital arts the first one is I intend to develop my self in a postive mannter and avoid anything which would reduce my mental growth or physical health in addtion to any cane you had made for me I also have the robaina raven in custom 42 inch size! ( from telly I am probably the only guy that asked for an upside down palm rest ) but my theory was to make it similar to this french version of the tonfa in this video : kzread.info/dash/bejne/eGuLo9dxYLy-hKg.htmlsi=gV2UqPH_6AHK99eV

Hello there! Congratulations on achieving your second-degree black belt! It's truly an impressive accomplishment to become the highest-ranked student in the dojo. Your dedication and hard work are evident, and it's fantastic that you're now eligible for one more stripe. Your interest in becoming an assistant instructor reflects a commitment to sharing your knowledge and skills with others, which is a commendable endeavor. As an instructor, you're likely aware of the importance of fostering a positive and growth-oriented mindset in martial arts. Your reference to Einstein's story serves as a great reminder that success is often built on learning from mistakes and focusing on strengths. Keep up the excellent work, and we wish you continued success on your martial arts journey. If you ever want to share more about your experiences or have any questions, feel free to reach out!
