Good video. Snorkels have improved greatly from 50 years ago. A good mask/snorkel makes snorkling more enjoyable.

The one piece of kit I rarely use. Funny… PADI requires one for training.

I use a Sherwood Tiga. Harder to use because of the Valves

I have a couple of snorkels, but I usually use my Bare. The clip always lives on my mask and I seldom use it when I’m diving, just when I’m snorkeling. Just as a note, a snorkel, no matter what type, makes a lousy straw for that jumbo sized cocktail you’ve ordered post dive.😉

#AskMark, Happy Christmas! New to the sport. After a year I’ve finally pieced together my soft gear. What are the chances you all have old gear lying around collecting dust? I’d gladly provide it a loving home…never hurts to ask, right? But seriously thanks for the videos any SCUBA content is gladly appreciated. Safe Diving

great vid. My partner and i are preparing to get our ow cert. and are looking at the backplate and wing style for future configuration possibilities. do all wings have the same mounting locations for fitting to a backplate and if not can you just make your own hole in your backplate

#askmark I seen a few times now, you’ve got the Fourth Element Tech Fins in the rails behind. I’m seriously thinking about getting a set. Any chance of a review, or have you got any opinions on them? I currently use Hollis F2’s so am interested how they compare to them? Cheers

They're fine, they probably one of the lightest jet-fin style fins out there and they come in more interesting colours other than black. You probably won't notice a huge difference in performance but, I don't think you'll be disappointed neither. For most work they get the job done fine, back-kicking is the only place they felt a bit slippery and some divers find the springs a bit tight.
