You can do a bridging course but you will have to find out from the relevant faculty/college to find our for the bridging course you should take.

The level you got from your matric results is your points. Eg. Maths Level 6 = 6 points.

Do you have to do the normal certificate before doing the higher certificate?

I had applied for a degree and I met the minimum requirements. I just checked my application status and they say I have not been admitted because I don't meet college requirements. This happens every year, even when I change courses. What could I be doing wrong because it's really frustrating.

I'd like to know if you doing higher certificate in education then applied for Bed fet subjects ( Mathematics and English) for 2022 what could be the reason you don't qualify for Bed fet in those subjects? Cause in the page of Higher certificate in education at unisa it states Higher certificate doesn't satisfy Bed fet ( Mathematics and English)

Because it is still low, maybe if you can apply for PGCE then apply for BED.

Firstly, you can check the requirements and see if you qualify then you can take a risk of rejecting the second choice offer.

Yes but after HC, you will have to do diploma then degree
