Simply put, 1. Related to your interest otherwise you loose attention/motivation 2. background study or Literature review to find what to do as research GAP to start with and 3. it should be a specific topic not as General/whole topic

1) choose topic from interest area (psychology, mythology, or art form/genre) 2) background study: a lot of work already done : psychoanalytic/shakespeare pov not 3) limit genus: specific not so big

you are naturally created for teaching, wow i am excited when i see your topic on research, you are knowledgeable for the topic and i like you.......continue & please madam provide as a sample research on business area if available ....or mention us any web site which help us to get any research on the mentioned area......thanks in advance...

I am an Engineering Ph.d holder....Most of the ideas that u said is applicable only to English Literature...In Engineering and Management, the topic has to be confirmed first by the Doctoral committee and guide... There is less possiblity to change the topic in between. Course work exams are based on the topic which we provide.
