Thanks for the video! I recently picked up a Mission Engineering 529i battery powered supply for a small board I needed. It’s been really great. I can power eight pedals and it has a USB power output. Highly recommended. Very quiet.

I eneded up woith the cs6 because it was easy to mount under my pedal train nano but i love how small and powerful the mini mxr iso brick is

Using the Cioks DC10 and i love it. its powerfull, never led me down quiet AF and pretty small. fits perfectly under any (angeld) pedalboard. Its even powering my Korg MicroKorg and my 10 pedals. it just works!

I remember when 1-Spot was made by Visual Sound (I still have their tap delay too, the single not the dual as that wouldn’t fit on my board.)

I use Truetone 1Spot CS12 and CS7 power supplies, i did some research a few years ago and these seemed to be professional quality and still provide a lot of power for their price, at least cheaper than most other professional brand products with similar features. Downside: they're quite big but since i build my own boards i just make them fit.

I would avoid Truetone. It’s totally overpriced cheap Chinese made junk. My CS7 failed in no time.

I like rechargeable power supplies like Sanyo Pedal Juice. I think I might try the Mission Engineering 529i.

While it is the case that CIOKS is a Danish company, contrary to what is stated in this video, the CIOKS DC7 is made in Poland (@danielrios4280 stated this below, 10 months ago). Something of interest is that the Eventide PowerMax is made by CIOKS, and has almost the same spec...but ofc the Eventide brand is used to inflate the retail price of the pedal above that of the CIOKS DC7; at least it does so in the UK.

I love my Voodoo 2 Plus, but the only downside is that you need to use 2 ports if you want 18v. Otherwise you have the option of 9v or 12v (12v toggle is on the bottom of the unit.) Otherwise it's great. Quiet and powerful.

Very incomplete information re: MXR. The DC brick is very old - it got a facelift with the new bare metal Enclosure. ISO brick and mini brick are not merely bigger and smaller options, they are different in that they are isolated power supplies.

Want to get rid of the noise in your power supply and not break the bank? Then the MXR ISO-Brick and Mini are the best bang for the buck. The DC Brick however is not good, you might as well be running a daisy chain. I started off with the DC and once I tried the ISO there was no turning back. Very small footprint compared to other isolated units and plenty of juice for a lot of pedals.

Cheap 1's dont work. Uh huh. I been using a Caline P-1 for 4-5 yrs now. Powering anywhere up to 16 pedals using 3- 3 out daisies that actually only use 2 of the outs keeping the inused out capped until needed. 1 at each end and 1 in the middle. Have the 18v split between 2 pedals. Only noisy pedal is a bias knob modded older Butler Tube Driver that could be noisy by inself sitting on the shelf. ( Joking there) Paid only $33 for my power unit but have seen it for $25. Do I think this 1's the best ? Not really ,I just feel lucky cause reviews say its noisy unreliable and just plain junk. But going on 5 yrs used to be constantly gigging and really not changing pedals much anymore. This 1 has proven to me to be just right for MY SYSTEM. What happens for anyone else? Who knows
