Very interesting and informative. So this explains why there is a vehicle that goes out and checks the runways often when viewing the camera at Nuuk.

So interesting to see how a small airport is run. Also what care goes into it to make the aircraft land and take off safe.

Hi Martina, In Nuuk, the runway friction testers are pulled behind a vehicle. It appears that this vehicle has the tester built-in to the vehicle, is this correct?

Hi Jeff. That is correct. There are different ways to do it. In this video from Sisimiut we use a tapley meter that is built-in to the car. You are right, we use a different method in Nuuk.
