Good evening, In the morning I will be taking my '81 Silverado for it's first official drive in 4 years. I'm so ready to start driving it on a regular basis Instead of driving my '03 Impala. I'm a truck guy and need to be back behind the wheel of my truck. Lol

What about a 94 Buick lasaebra the plug in is not the same as a Chevy truck in the video

Hmmm I own a 1991 suburban and it’s been sputtering when I’m stopped like at a light …. I recently tuned it and it’s still sputters a bit ? what could it be ?

Ah, could be a few different things. I’d start with the idle air control valve and the coolant temperature sensor. If those don’t work try a map sensor and the throttle position sensor. If you’re still having trouble, rebuild the throttle body. Hard to really tell without it setting in front of me but any one of those things could potentially make it sputter. If you want to post a video I’d be glad to watch it and see what I can tell.

This does not work on my 1994 firebird formula. Maybe I have obd 1.5? I think I have a slightly different setup. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

94 would be obd1 but they have an ob2 connector.

@@alexkerr2343 got ya, 94 was an odd year. It is definitely obd1 but something was different at the connector. Might’ve just been the shape of it

When I do this the engine light stays off but my cooling fans come on. Anybody ran into this issue is it a wiring problem maybe?

@@ayyyyooodre4656 that’s the issue, this will not work on a 94 up but you can get a scan tool for it cheap on eBay. That’s exactly what it should do with it being a 94

@@gmtim3840All I've managed to do is turn on my cooling fan as well. I used the same points I've seen everyone else use and no luck. It's a 1983 Olds 88. Should be the same, yeah?
