Are your trailers not derated or are the gcwr with the truck low enough?

I have the same trailer. Something happened on the road in Alabama a couple nights ago. I didn’t see or hear anything until someone flagged me that I had a blowout. Anyhow, it bent both of my axles and both of the frame joyces in succession. Is there anyway that I could send or email you a few pics, so that I know what I should do and buy to repair it? I just don’t trust many of these trailer repair shops w all the horror stories of price gouging I’ve heard. Thanks 🙏

PD diesel: does that trailer come with a torque tube at 32'? And when you get your combo. weighed, how much do you estimate the trailer would weigh? Heavy?

Gary Thomas yes it comes with the tube. and weight is at 6k

Dexter axel tightens it then turns one quarter turn back.

So the nut is actually going to feel loose???? I have the exact axle. After a re tightening (snugging?) The nut should you feel any play still with wheel on??

What kind of schaeffer's grease do you use

what size trailer do you run? im interested in hot shot but am unsure of the trailer, was thinking 35ft

I would think that the trailer manufacturer would have actual torque specs for the bearings.

How often are you greasing them. I was told to grease after every 10-20 thousand miles. I use synthetic grease and a few pumps and seems to work well. I have a 36 foot Kaufman with twin 7 K axles.? Thanks for the Video

I use it every day running hot-shot cars. Today is the first day off in 3 1/2 weeks

The Transport Guy most important is to have them adjust properly and use good synthetic grease. Your good to go 30k between greasing. because thats roughly what we do. and this system worked for us for the last 7 years

That's about where I figure I would perform the maint. I never overload the axles and do my best to even the units on the trailer and centered so I get even wear on the tires. Once concern that another Kaufman owner told me was the quality of rims from the factory. Said they tend to crack. Has that ever happened? I upgraded my tires to Cooper Discover but still factory rims
