How to charge the right price for your workshop
It's an easy trap to fall into. You're worried no one will show, so you do your event for free, or for a very nominal sum.

Thanks Sarada! Very helpful - I was thinking of charging nothing but you confirmed my concern that people may not see it as valuable if it's free or may not attend. The value provided in the workshop will definitely be worth more than that!

+Sarada Chaudhuri are you still making content anywhere?
Thank you Sarada, this is very helpful as I am about to host my first seminar for the writers.
Hi Sarada! I found this video so informative and you so personable that I am subscribing. Pricing use to be a problem for me until I, myself, paid for business coaching. When I did that, it helped. It gave me confidence as I knew that the quality of what I was offering was comparable. The challenge for me most recently has been venturing into virtual workshops with groups. Although I know that charging the same as I would for individual coaching is not advised, I was struggling with what would be competitive. I think I did all three in some form and I finally settled on my strategy. Your advice has confirmed that I am on the right track. Thank you so much!
You have so much valueble information here. Thank you very much
Thanks Sharda! I am preparing for my first workshop.I hope that it will be my first valuable, life changing and first best workshop.
Great video Sarada! I'm getting ready to do my first workshop and this really helped me. Great reminder for me to trust myself.
Thank you so much for this information. I'm just starting out with offering wellness workshops to fitness clubs, corporate companies, and in community settings, and trying to determine price is really proving to be a difficult task. I know that what I have to offer is valuable, I want to be paid a fair price for the work that I do, but I don't want to feel uncomfortable about how much I charge. Your tips really helped me to make sense of it all. I haven't had much success finding what others are charging, but I'm still rocking on it. Thank you!
Thank you Sarada. I subscribed from first your video.
Thanks for this great brief lesson. It's quite educative, I never thought of the 3 strategy. It's really good.
Excellent! Thank you!
Thank you for this information. I had calculated my pricing using the cost method earlier. After watching your video, i am confident about my pricing. I have scanned the market too to adjust my profit ratio.
Thank you Sarada! Very helpful :)
Thank you Sarada for your video, enjoyed watching and it was helpful :)
I regard you as an EXPERT. Trustworthy You Are!!
Thanks Sarada , this video was very descriptive and helpful for me
Thank You. I feel uncomfortable charging for my workshops.
This was great- I wish you had more views, more people should see this video.
Nice presentation. You framed this information so well. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for this! I was just talking to a friend of mine about doing a workshop. My very thought for workshop prices is based on my same idea for ticket prices for my regular concerts. If I anticipate 300 people to be in attendance, I charge $30.00 a ticket. But since this is a workshop...I have to assume that the venue would be much smaller, so I'd have to anticipate about 100 in attendance so I would only charge $10.00 a head. 10% of the anticipated guest. So far, I've been successful with this idea for concerts, so, I'm thinking I might have the same success for a workshop no? Your thoughts?
I am formulating a workshop group. Thinking about 6 hours in length. I am considering charging half of my hourly rate plus operating costs. Does that sound fair to charge and make a modest profit to test new material?
Thanks, I struggle with this as I know what I offer is of huge value. I need to price based upon my value. Blessings!
