    Thanks for this video. I just bought the Sky D100 V2, smaller than a Q200 but very similar menu. Watching you use your charger, & hearing your opinion of Sky products, has boosted my confidence.

    Thanks for the excellent review! Just getting into quads and am ordering one now. These seem like the perfect charger to start with micros, work up to full-size, and keep all the other bits and pieces that go with these charged up as well.

    I have one of the SkyRC single port charger for my first and it's pretty awesome. Doesn't have as many features as the Q200 but once I get more batteries I'd defiantly keep with the same brand. As you said the manual is really comprehensive and has pictures for all the settings and a menu tree for each option as well. Was very impressed for the money :) BTW I bought mine in Aus at the local hobby shop.

    I already have the S60 Charger from SkyRC and i am very happy with it (except the shitty PC Software which is crashing all the time). The S60 is a trusty little charger for all my needs. But in future i will update to the Q200 because of the abillity to charge 4 batts at the same time without an balancer board or something. Cool review also! :) - a fan from germany :)

    I got the "small" one , the D100. It has all the good nice functions the Q200 except the Bluetooth thingy, but you can upgrade that I think. But I am still jealous. And that is for the on/off switch. I totally understand your fascination for it. That is what adds the "want factor" in this. :D

    this is hands down the best value right now. for 169 I would grab it myself if not owning D200 and another one already. Like the fact they integrated connectivity and there is no dongle. That USB actually comes handy when travelling (outlet issue) or for field USB charging. Charging in a safe means no need to watch it, wireless operation is very welcome. I wish I got that damn dongle for my D200 :)

    Stewart is it 10 amps per side and 5 amps power plug on the front so a total of 30 amps or does each pair share the amperage for a total of 15 amps I know the high-tech charger that's very similar to that charger shares the amperage on the two plugs unless you're on DC power that can supply more of the amperage just curious if you knew

    Have you/Could you please check, post charge cell voltage for accuracy? I have a different/cheap 4 port charger that seems to always overcharge on a couple of the ports. This looks like an excellent charger as long as it is accurate, and at such a generous price point, I get a little worried.

    Quick question Stewart, I've got a Taranis and a quad with a D4R-II. For the past few weeks it's been fine but all of a sudden the Taranis won't connect to it. The receiver LEDs show that it's working as usual but I'm not getting signal or the battery voltage on the taranis. Is there something in the Taranis settings that could be wrong?

  • @UAVfutures

    @UAVfutures

    7 жыл бұрын

    try it on a new model in the taranis and see if it makes a difference. are you sure it is bound? try rebinding it and resetting the failsafe.

    I'm sure it's bound, I've flown it before, and I've been trying but it won't enter bind mode. I can tell that the receiver recognizes the taranis because the LEDs say so and they dim and freak out when I bring the taranis antenna close the the receiver antenna, but the taranis just won't recognize it. Is there a way to reset the receiver?

Its 120w x2 and the SkyRC one you review is 100w max spread between the 4 ports i'm pretty sure. More then enough for most users but if you were say balance charging more then 7x4s batteries at 1c rate you'd be over your limit and have reduced speed for each subsequent battery added.

    5.9 It's only a 100w charger max. Not really worth the 175 dollar price tag. You'd be better off getting 2 200w chargers, or just grabbing a turnigy reaktor 4x.

  • @UAVfutures

    200w total output max. Only 100w per channel, like it says on the front of the charger and in the documentation. Most 4s batteries we use are 1300 mah and parallel boards hold 6 of them, so if you want to charge at 1c you need 7.8 amps, or 131w. For the price this is a "meh" charger at best.
