I'm not sure why people are complaining. My system is two years old, worked perfectly all the way up to the time the indicator said change them. It took me all of three minutes to change all three of my filters. Great system that produces incredibly pure water, both to my faucet and my ice maker. Thank you again.

Maybe it was just our valve but after turning it I could still hear water flowing into the system. I learned quickly that that was the case as water came rushing out until my girlfriend turned off the water for the entire house. Only after that we were able to replace the filters, which was a complete pain in the rear end. The filters were difficult to remove and put back in. Again, maybe the installer screwed up with that valve but it's probably a good idea to just turn off the main water anyway.

We have had the A200 system for many years without any problems, unitl recently. the RO filter leaks if we use too much water from the sink spigot. it eventually stops. I don't know if someine tried turning it and ripped the o-ring or anything. I have watche dseveral videos for changing the cartridges and they both say don't remove the middle cartridge. That is what is leaking every now and then. Any ideas why that one would leak and what would I have to do just to remove that cartridge to check the o-ring?

Adrs what? Yes, those are where the filtered water is stored after running through filter unit and before exiting the faucet. One or more tanks is really just a function of how much filtered water you want at the ready.

I’m a cheap ass, and I say it’s worth it. We get almost exactly 12 months out of ours (5 people and a dog....2 kids are playing sports year round and really go through big water jugs). We drink it constantly, and I buy cartridges when they go on sale during customer appreciation events for about $80 each ($160 per year). Every 2-3 years, I have the dealer come out and sanitize, maintain, and give everything a look over. They also deliver a shit ton of salt at the same time (2-3 years worth). I use about a bag per month.

Difficult/easy is subjective. It's probably easier if you can pull the filter cabinet all the way out as in the video. With my set-up, that's impossible. The filter in the forward area is more difficult to remove because it's tucked inside the case. However, replacing the new one is very difficult because it's still tucked inside and the blue meter stick gives resistance as the canister is being screwed into place. @Judah, thanks for the video.
