It works on free app. But most important part is you need a solid background or a green screen. Else it won't work.

Great video.. However I dont see that virtual background option on my Samsung Chromebook Pro or the app. Is it not an option on my platform or is it a paid feature?

Great video again, but this didn't work for me. My Mac is 8 years old and Zoom told me it needs to have a "Quad Core" to be operational and mine only has "Dual Core." My OS was compliant, it just didn't have Quad Core. I need a new Mac!

Hi! I just have a question about something with the zoom background. So, I changed my background for my zoom and I have used it for the past few months, and one day I had to take my background off. When I put the zoom background back on you couldn’t see my face, the background kept taking out parts of my face and I kept trying it even the next day and it didn’t work. So if you know how to fix this or have any tips that would help me a lot thanks!

@@mskimmie316 you need to have an i7 processor and a good graphics card and good amount of ram to use virtual background. If you don't it will tell you your computer isn't qualified . also, to see backbrounds you have to unclick you have a green screen.

I'm new to Zoom. In settings I have put the use of virtual background "on". However, I do not get the option you get at the bottom of the screen. It just shows which camera I am using, but not the option to use another background. My laptop is fairly new, so that can not be the problem.

dang i need to try this out ,, i was in on a zoom last week and everybody had a cool background but me ,,, i dont remember seeing this option though in the bottom corner? i may need to do a update maybe

i made my one into a gif of me just going around in my chair for my online school they did not notice but i walked in to the frame so they saw like 45 minutes in (dont worry it was not important lol)

Very helpful video. When I use a virtual background with text on it. It looks alright during the meeting. But, if I record the meeting and replay the recording, the text appears flipped horizontally, like a mirror image, which looks wiered. Am I doing something wrong?

KDC I can help you! You have to click undo video ( something along those lines). You’ll have to add a photo of yourself to your zoom account so when you are not on camera the picture will be seen to everyone.

I've now got the same page as on your video but when I click on virtual backgrounds, I don't get any. It's just a picture of me underneath which I have the options of None or Blur. There aren't any of the virtual backgrounds shown in your video. However, I've clicked on the + and used one of my own images.

Thank goodness for KZreadrs. I’ve been trying to figure out how to use the zoom background on my laptop for years. I thought I just hadn’t gotten the right update, but I wasn’t pressing the right button because it’s different on my phone that on my laptop. Man I’m old lol. 😂

It works for iPad Pro and up. iPhone 8 and up is also usable.

Setting the background for this reminds me of using a windows based program from the early 2000s. If this could be done through the app on iOS, it’d be way easier.

Great information on backgrounds. Question: I have Pro 3 DSLR cameras I use for my photography business. (Canon 5D Mark IV, 5D Mark III and a 70D which I don't use anymore). If I wanted to use say the 70D, can I just plug the cable that comes with the camera right into my Asus Laptop USB port and use it for Zoom meetings?....Or will I need an interface or drivers to download, etc. Thanks and good info on your video. @@Howfinity With your Sony did you plug from the camera HDMI out into the computer USB or into the computer HDMI?...I didn't realize the HDMI on the computer could take an input signal as well. I only thought of it as an output to an external monitor. That would be great if it takes input signals as well...Thanks.
