I just had my d40 running guttless. My mechanic said it was code p0120. I went ok. Took it home and the hose to the waste gate had broken off. Goes good now

I have the same issue, large bore pipe coming from turbo does not inflate when you rev. Is there a way to know which pipe should go where as you just swapped 1 for 1, expecting them to be correct. My hoses are colour coded, one is blue and one yellow from memory. 2010 Navara auto 2.5td

I changed the boost control vacuum solenoid I now have more power but I also have a surge when driving just wait and I’ll check the pipes they’re fine in the right place just wondering what the next place to look is please from down under thank you

When I squeeze the pipe it does expand when around 5k revs should it expand earlier?

I changed my boost sensor but my hose still sacking air in when raved could I have messed up the hoses when replacing or do I need seal of some kind?

Hey mate I have a 2009 stx would a boost solenoid failure cause my car to over boost as my car is reaching 30+ psi I haven’t driven it since until I figure out the problem

This piece is original nissan? I already tried 3 valves that were not original and do not work well, they do not drive the turbine at low speed.

I cant seem to find mine, is it different on a 2011 model?

Hi mate, nice tip. Can you send some light on a flat spot under load just when the auto is about running above 60km/hr it looses power (like a flat spot) as it kicks down going up a hill and starts to pulse? I was leaking towards the boost solenoid but I did your test and the pipes pull my fingers apart. Many thanks!!!

@@westyorkshireengineservice9160 Hi. Thanks for reply. Yes. It has had all that. Also Replaced the suctiin control valve and reset pump with the modis ultra. Could it be bad turbo? So it only happens under heavy load, above 60km/h. It's got to be a long high hill. Kicks down and flat spot, starts surging and no power. Otherwise runs like socket. It has had engine swap in the past.

Sam Twite ....yes , I traced the vacuum hoses over the top of the engine and found a split in one of the pipes ... is was right next to a union so cut out the split and re attached .... power restored 👍

I Joiner, Sir , thank you I just replaced the boost solenoid and didn't fix the problem, So thanks to you I checked all my vacuum hoses and there was one that was completely split. thanks heaps Les

My np300 runs good at high revs and crap at low revs, could be this problem!!!! Where is this located on np300? Thanks!!

Do newer models also have the boost solenoid ? I think I've got electronic boost controller on mine.

Above 2010 yes you are correct you need to scan the Ecu to be sure.

Would you recommend replacing the factory intercooler hose with a rigid metal one? More power or waste of 80 quid?

@@Scartworks I've just ordered a hard pipe after doing a bit of research. The reason to change it is because the factory rubber one expands under boost and there is a small loss of boost in the expansion. The hard pipe doesn't expand. I'm also doing it to get rid of that hideous canister in the middle of the pipe that leaks oil and installing an oil catch can. I'm in Australia, it's a big country and we have all sorts of weather and temperatures.

It sits just below the air box it has 3 pipes And to test it half squeeze the main boost pipe get someone to give it a harsh rev if it sucks in boost solenoid goosed buddy

Have they heard of the money he took from me via wire transfer from all the way in the caribbean to purchase an engine for a custumer and since then (february) this year i haven't gotten am engine or a refund and this man claim to run a honest business. Bullshit..........!!!!

Up to this day I haven't recieved a refund or a promise of one from this man since he took my $5000 deposit for an engine I never got. He is dishonest.
