@@PreparationdobleH Please buy a citizen and don't buy Tissot. my Tissot also developed a blob. I have had cheap $10 Casios with digital screen still going strong after 15 years and not even battery change yet. Tissot should pay to all of his customers and offer a refund

Thank you for this great demo. Now I know how to change my bezel..( hopefully without scratching anything :D) I cannot see why they don't make it like normal watches where the movement just drop out of the case back instead of pushing it out of the front. So some extra special tools are needed. I can't see a seal for the glass in this video, so I wonder if the water resistance is still reliable after this re-assembly.

Small particles on the face of the new movement were still there and not removed before reseating the glass see the little speck at 9 O'clock on the new movement @7:39 and still there @8:19 after the glass is put back on. Back gasket was not re-lubricated. I assume there are now fingerprints and finger grease in the case now as no gloves were used while handling the rear plate. If I had a warranty movement replacement I would not be happy that foreign particles were now floating around in the case. That being said- I still really appreciate the time and effort to show how this is done. Thank you.

I purchased a new T-touch and it developed a blob within a year. I will never buy a Tissot in my life.

only at a Tissot Service Center. 1 month is not a long time, I think you will be repaired under warranty. write to them, I'm sure they value their customers. good luck!

Hello! I dont know. This special tool is only available at the Tissot Service Center. I don’t think you can buy it anywhere. but you can do it yourself if you really need

Renata LMR 2016. (rechargeable) CR2016 is not rechargeable. they are different batteries.

I got the same blob on my watch, also came out of nowhere. You say it's a warranty case. My watch is 5 years old, will it still be a warranty case? Is this some kind of weakness/fabrication fault on these watches?

Don't buy it. You will get a blob in the screen and you will regret spending this much money. It will cost you hundreds of dollars to get it fix.

Does the touch function work without the glass? I wonder if the touch sensor is on the glass or on the movement behind the glass.

@@watch-repair Very interesting. Are there any electrical contacts on the glass to transmit the touch signal? I can't really see them. Does the orientation of the glass matter when installing (does the wrong function get activated if you install it rotated for example)?

@@watch-repairoh. How do the contacts on the glass make contact with the circuit board? I've tried zooming in to the video closely but all I see under the glass is the black plastic ring with the arrows. Does the glass make contact through the sides of the metal case? Or through the metal rectangle thing on top with the four pins?

Mine had the same issue, accidentally fall from cupboard. My friends G shock watch fell from third floor still works well no major issues. Cheap crap design but too expensive to repair. I rather switch to G shock. After watching few Army extensive training i saw most of them wearing G-Shock. U cant use it for rough training so called Tissot Touch" shit" model.

How to change the battery, their is a cage around the battery. How do you remove it to change the battery

This is a warranty case, you will be changed for free at any Tissot service center.

My Tissot had the same bubble. It didn't fall and then hit anything.

I am not able to find Renata imr2016 battery. Was this a typo by any chance? The manual said it needs ML2016 and I found Casio ML2016. Will it work not being Renata brand?

I thought this problem happened to me only, it turned out to be a lot of people got this blob, very bad quality watch and expensive at the same time, tissot service center wanted to charge me 270 USD for repair !! I refused, this is a scam !! Buying this watch was a mistake, don't buy it, simply buy a G shock with a far better build and quality and half the price 🤷🏻‍♂️

I've come to the conclusion that this is really a cheap watch. They don't do any service on them. Anything goes wrong they replace the entire guts. $400. So what you're looking at is a $1500 disposable watch. Get a Timex for less than $100. Get 4.

Timex doesn't have any of those features, at the same time combined with those materials.
