I figured it out. A visual with fingers showing where to tap with 2 fingers would really help others. You have to actually tap onto the blue layer tab with 2 fingers. I was tapping onto the image. Hopefully this comment will help others.

I have been looking at so many of these videos. I have a brand new ipad with new download of procreate and the "Opaque" message at the top of the screen doesn't ever appear for me. I have tapped on layers and then 2 fingers and I just can't get it to appear. Any additional help would be very appreciated. Thank you so much!

I’m having trouble changing one of the types of opacities within my layer. I chose the darken option but when I go to combine that layer with another layer that setting does not save. Any tips?

It's not working for me; I have an iPad 9th gen. When I tap two fingers it undoes the last thing I did.

How do I draw with full opacity while doing thiss?

Another way...Tap on the "N" next to the layer name and a new Menu will come up where you can change the Opacity.

Thank you this one worked for me.

How do you put it back to its original opacity? I inserted a pic on one layer, and changed it a few times. Now it won’t go back to the original opacity. Just that I can make it lighter but not more opaque. The only thing I can think of, is to re-insert the pic on a different layer, and hopefully have it match up again (I’m inking over a hand drawing). There has to be a better way, isn’t there? Any help is appreciated greatly; I’m just starting out on procreate.

To redo it is that you can tap the screen with two fingers or on the left side there is a redo button

one side transparency like top and bottom …..no transparency in bottom ?

I have the last gen iPad. Procreate is only available for Apple Ipads unfortunately. Off brand tablets running Android won't work.

This app makes me want to literally throw my iPad out the window! Which I have almost done a thousand times dealing reacting with how un-intuitive the app is. Reminds me of Affinity Designer. Can do a lot of things, but not the most important, and simplistic.

I hate how procreate makes EVERYTHING so annoying you have to take classes just to learn how to use their weak ass stuff
