How to Change the oil on a 2008-2012 Chevy Malibu

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

This video shows you how to change your oil on a 2008-2012 Chevrolet Malibu, equipped with the 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine. Additionally, I show you how to reset the oil life monitor on the car's dashboard, so your Malibu will know when to remind you of your next service.

    Do those ramps clear the bottom of your bumper? I wanted to buy a set of those, but I was worried they might scratch the bottom rolling up.

  • @Allcarseveryday

    @Allcarseveryday

    5 жыл бұрын

    They cleared it for me, which is saying something because the front lip of these Malibus hangs very low (I scrape on steep driveways). Plus, even if they didn't, they're made of plastic and you're moving at a super low speed. If you're really worried about it, you can try putting a 2x4 on the beginning part of the ramp to add clearance. IT just makes it a little more dangerous and you can't apply hardly any throttle. But mine went fine, no scraping. So you should be good too!

Do not improvise when it comes to using the proper tools for the task at hand it is imperative that you follow the workshop specifications when it comes to Ianything automotive. It will save you money in the long run on unneccessary repairs later on down the road.
