I need to do this on my C20XE Corsa; clocks I bought it with never worked and was told I need old style cable clocks which I now have so your video will be really useful - thanks for uploading and keep up them coming 👍

Mine was cable originally due to the conversion but its a hopeless set up so converted back to electronic by BM Motorsport

Glad to see it's a simle and straightforward job, appreciate it! I have a '98 corsa B and the speedo works on start up but after 30 miles or so it starts shaking and eventually zeroes out. Odometer will stop adding miles for the duration of the trip. All other gauges work without a hitch. Any clue where I should start looking for an answer?

Is your speedo cable or electronic?

@@CarGuyLife It is a 1L 12v engine, no ABS. 99% sure it's cable driven.

@matricious yeah cable driven speedos are very temperamental even when i installed a new cable on my corsa it was still a pile of crap and didn't read properly and wasn't consistent so i got it converted back to electronic

Hello I don't know if you would answer my question: I would like to change my original instrument cluster of the "Opel Corsa B viva" X10XE", (which is without rev counter), with one that has a rev counter like this one in your video; I would like to know if replacing this instrument cluster will automatically operate the rev counter? Or do I have to make some external connection for it?

Very good question! I dont actually know BUT applying logic and common sence i would say the wiring etc wont be there to work with a rev counter

lol i did wonder if that cog went back on 😆

Had to do this on my Rover 800 i replaced the clocks.
