Thanks for the video sir! I am a big Mares fan and Mares diver, only problem I have with Mares is the wetsuit for my size 🤣. Only thing is make shure to rinse the regulators really good and dry them. Keep up the good work😊🤙🤿🦈

Hello Boriken Nautical, we too are huge Mares fans. I agree, the wetsuits need a lot of work. My issue isn't sizing, but the longevity of the material. The rubber that Mares uses, does not hold up very well in chlorinated water. I go through a minimum of three 3mm wetsuits a year.

One of the best (if not the best) Scuba channels on KZread! Can you explain the difference between SSI's new recreational Decompression Diver program and XR Foundations, XR Nitrox or XR programs? Being a new program, I looked all over but couldn't find anything about this subject. Is it better to do the XR Foundation/Nitrox or is the decompression diver enough to enjoy more bottom time at depth?

Hello Yousif Jawher, thank you for the kind words. SSI has developed the new Recreational Decompression Diver program in respnonse to the XR Nitrox program. This is an entry level course and just another stepping stone for a recreational diver to gradually get into tech diving. For experienced divers that have a general understanding of decompression theory would not need this course, and could skip it and simply take the XR Nitrox course. By giving different options to newer divers, this allows those who have trouble understanding the theory part a better option than just throwing them into a technical based course. As far as the Foundation Course, this too is a stepping stone for recreational divers that still need to work on trip and equipment configurations before journeying down the path of technical diving. I would speak with your local SSI Instructor, and see which course would be best for you. Just keep in mind, not all SSI shops will be able to teach the entire spectrum of courses offered by SSI, but they should be able to assist you in find an SSI Instructor that can suit your needs.

Hello Waheeb rasool, I assume you mean when you are not diving. I usually roll mine up in a coil and use a bolt snap to clip it off when I'm not using it.

Be careful with the reg side 17mm wrench. The reg side nut is thin. You may need a wrench thinner than a normal one. Otherwise you cannot turm the other one.

@@LakeHickoryScuba as far as I know scubapro is the only manufacture that needs special tools to take off reg hoses. Service is different but I feel like a hose swap shouldn’t require special tools. Just seems like scubapro trying to make more money.

what a crappy design! Just holds saltwater on the swivel, promoting corrosion and problems... but it looks nice...

Hello Whatandwhen2, thankfully, we have never had an issue with this design holding saltwater. The casing is not water tight.
