Thank you for the video! FYI it is possible to drain and refill both the engine and inverter coolant without removing plastic underbody panels. I don’t think I had to remove any undercarriage plastic bits. Tried to remove one but one bolt head was very rusted so I just reached from the bottom/top of the car to do it all. It took a bit of contorting and I had to wiggle the engine drain petcock to get it unstuck after 10 years of Ohio winters, but I got it open after some twisting and pulling. I was confused why the engine coolant wasn't draining at first until i realized I didn't open the pressurized metal coolant cap. Instead of removing the coolant reservoir hose, I used a hand pump to empty the reservoir. The coolant I used was Walmart Super Tech OE Red Antifreeze Prediluted 50/50, $11.83/gallon.

Hoping to do this to my Prius c within the next couple weeks. I’m dreading it, because last time I did a coolant flush it was on my Mercedes’ diesel van and it was just an absolute disaster job lol just have to get over it and do this one

Hello, your video is very good and informative. I wanna ask, in this vehicle really not need bleeding ? i've watch some other video and a vehicle (prius) need bleeding with Maintanace Mode. Hi, question for you since you know Prius cars. My transmission doesn’t shift properly if it’s hot outside, but perfectly when it’s cool outside. Seems like a cooling problem to me. What should I check? Coolant is new and full.

Could you possibly show this on the Ioniq please? And if possible, show how to disassemble and put back the EGR valve after cleaning? I find the Hyundai impossible compared to the Toyota and it’s a real expensive job if only the dealership will touch it - they don’t repair, only replace hence the added cost. Gracias.

The mileage sometimes is rolled back so customers thinks its a close to new vehicle so that could be the reason the sugar formation. Just a could be

Changed the engine coolant in my 2015 Prius C. When I reach high speed, 70mph, the red engine temperature light comes on. When I decelerate to about 50mph and below, the red temperature symbols disappears, and the dash returns to normal. Also, my heater is no longer blowing hot air. What do you think could be wrong?

The thermostat was closed because the engine was cold. Are you saying you don’t need to raise engine temp beyond thermostat opening to make sure you don’t have air in the system. This is the way my 05 was. Once 180-190 more air came out.

Help please. I have exactly same car and the level of the coolant is slightly below the minimum level. I bought another coolant and is clearly different. Can i top it up temporarily or i must replace it? Is it safe to mix different coolants? Help please 🙏 thanks
