I've never removed spark plug boots that easy on a MB. What sorcery was this?!

I assume you used the notched steel tool to pull the metal wire terminals off the spark plugs. For less craft oriented shade-tree mechanics in the crowd, parts sellers sell a pressed steel open-end wrench that can be used to pry the metal wire terminals off the spark plugs. As has been noted, the MBz manuals suggest using compressed air to blow away any dust or dirt from the recesses before removing the old spark plugs. Be very careful to avoid cross-threading when you start the threads of the new spark plug into the aluminum threads in the head; some people recommend doing this by hand, using the plug socket and extension like a screw driver, rather than a ratchet to start the threads. Don't forget to use a torque wrench to avoid over-tightening the spark plugs. Very helpful.

Good practice is to blow possible dirt out of the plug channels before taking the plugs out to avoid getting any particles into the combustion chamber.

And the most important part of the job at that lol...have to make sure you torque the plugs to 27 nm and the coils to 18 nm.

Have you checked the transmission and motor mounts? If worn out these will cause the shakes. Maybe fuel pump

you should have included taking out the plug, installing new plug to avoid cross-threading which is way more critical than cross threading a screw on say...a game console remote...and the re-installation of the wires/modules....thanks for the video :)

Probably the spark plugs are shorter. Make sure you get what comes with the car. Auto part stores can give you a little short or tall one which can mess up things.
