How To Change Spark Plugs for 2013-2016 Ford Escape: HOW TO ESCAPE

In this video, we're focusing on changing spark plugs for a 1.6L EcoBoost Ford Escape.
We will change 4 spark plugs with the Motorcraft recommended plugs.
You will see the noted materials and tools needed. Thread grease for the plugs is OPTIONAL as stated by my dealer.
NOTE: When using a deep socket to remove a spark plug, make sure you have the thinnest walled socket possible. If it's too thick, it will bind in your spark plug well and feel awful like you're cross threading... I know because I did it.
Please let me know if you have any questions and or suggestions.

Brand new ignition coils come with dielectric grease gobbed in hole. It doesnt affect anything, but seals boot/ sparkplug connection from any condensation.

Thanks, @Joseph! I could see that being a benefit when you're ordering new coils. Just thought I'd show that you can add the dielectric grease to the existing coils if people were looking to use what they already had. Thanks for the comment and for checking out the channel! Let us know if there's something you want to see in a video

I have 2014 escape battery keeps being drain , I jumped started it and drove it for a while perfectly fine. Went home turn it off . When I locked it I heard the beep noice really low so I unlocked again and try to start it back on and will hear nothing but clicks like if it was drained again ? So I waited couple sec tried starting it again and it hesitated but it started ¿ what could it be ??? I had someone test the batter and alternator but every reading was good apparently

Is it really a good idea to blow out the plug cylinder a second time while the spark plug socket is open to the cylinder below?

Good question- its really up to you and the environment you're in. If there's junk built up under your engine cover or if its windy around you... just use your judgment. Obviously you don't want to INTRODUCE more debris, but if you know you have clean air and that your working area is clean i thought it to be prudent to do a quick blast for checking.
