Unfortunately Citroën (and the Stellantis team), stupidly, abandoned it...

Thank you to heaven !!! Luckily I watched this video. its leaking some oil on a torn cuff in my Citroen C5 .. I was afraid that my suspension cylinder broke ... I just need to put on a new cuff. Thank you very much!

loads of nice tools . love the ramp.I am crawling around under a VW Polo 1995 leaking gearbox oil out of the gearchange seal.no sign of the connecting bush, small wonder the gearchange was super sloppy.

great video I have a 2008 C5 2 litre HDI Manual on offer . Ex German ? r/h drive car so better check it over for corrosion . My C6 had to be returned to the UK insane Portuguese import taxes . the C5 rear shock looks a breeze . I love copperslip grease . Slap it all over .never seize. Perfect on the l/h and r/h rear suspension toe adjusting link .

Hi friend, Thank you very much for your efforts making this videos. Maybe you can give me some advice. I have C5 2004. and after I was back from all 4 tyre change, my C5 started to loose preasure on rear end. Rear end drops after some time. When I open the door, or unlock pump starts to work and it comes to normal. Did you had simmilar experience and what could be the problem? There is still no leaking anywhere.

Did the swap for my Immaculate Suzuki Burgman AN 650 .. My 2008 Citroen C5 saloon car is totally rust free although R/H drive . it has been in Portugal from the UK for all of its life hence no UK salt corrosion . One of the rear hydraulic rubber boots has a little finger sized hole in the concertina section . Your video is excellent and I have watched it a few times . Does the chassis rod end need greasing . How much lds fluid is needed in the gaiter .

I buy my parts from a local part shop. Hydraulic oil began to leak on the ground.

Way did you fill oil inn it before you put it on???

Но какой силой нужно затягивать чтобы нетекло, резиновую прокладку ведь непоставиш... мне както не очень такой способ .

@@CitroMan я сам обладатель Ситроен с5 2005года. Мне такую операцию делали , с двух сторон. Насчёт прокладки ставили вроде алюминиевую , но не резиновую . Усилие зажима как обычно . Катаюсь уже 1.5 года , всё хорошо.

главное што нашли способ как выручитца из ситуации, это может будет решение проблемы для многих владельцов Citroen С5 с '01г по '08г, па скольку я слышал што Citroen прекратил производство этой запчасти.

была похожая проблема, просто, снимается сфера и подматывается фум лентой или подобным материалом и закручивается обратно

не ну я понимаю, но все эти варианты только когда надо "здесь и сечас", а если зделать нормально то надо новый вставлять . они не только так изнашываюца, со временем недержут давление в системе и тогда так или иначе но всё равно придётся менять на новый... так вставил новый раз уж беда и забыл

Nice. But in Germany you can't find or buy a new part for this cars. I mean C5I and C5II. Where he buy it?

Nice this doesn't seem that hard. I hit a pretty big pothole and my rear rightside suspension is not working, it jammed in a way that it doesn't bounce anymore and leaks a bit of oil. The suspension raises if I insist but when I put it down again to normal it crashes all the way down( the whole rear).

CitroMan, I have a question, between H3+ and Activa suspension which is better in terms of reliability & handling?

Maybe EGR valve, maybe FAP filter, maybe Eolys' level is low, but I don't know, I can't tell without inspecting the car myself.

When you're mounting sphere again, shouldn't you do that ONLY by hand? This week I'll be changing seals in rear cylinders. I hope unmounting them will be as easy as shown on your video :) TIP: It's good to have new Retaining Pin - 5272 09 (2-3 €)

Second I tried to screw by one turn (rear firmness regulator fluid pipes but the real problem I did not do anything because it was so rust ) How can I process another ways because I did not program Citroen computer for depressurisation ? Достаточно было обмотать резьбу шара фум-лентой.

не достаточно... Смазывал резьбу и прокладку маслостойким герметиком, - не помогло. пришлось заменить стойку... теперь пытаюсь выгнать воздух из системы. Пока тщетно.

@@Gleo68 Там резьба прослаблена слегка. Я заматывал и пальцами уплотнял, а уж потом вкручивал. Может у Вас трещина в корпусе/резьбе? Воздух выгнать можно (если все остальное исправно) опустив и подняв машину 2-3 раза. Да, еще момент. Когда у меня шар подыхал, из него азот в систему постоянно попадал. В итоге руль "колбасило" примерно неделю, пока не понял в чем дело.

@@user-kd5tl6nz2v возможно и микротрещина, поскольку с той стороны бежала тонкой стуйкой ( с волос) похоже камень из-под колеса прилетел.... теперь "колдую" с воздухом... вроди бы уже и выгнал, а зад прыгает как мячик на кочках. 🤔??? Сферы менял год назад.
