Yes make sure the e-brake is off

How do you set the battery with the wires

By what I can remember because it is a while since I had the vehicle I don't think they were any sliders caliper bolts straight on but don't hold me to that because I can honestly remember all I can remember is when you put it back together apply foot brake and put the e brake on and off several times eventually it will reset itself anyway

Dont they make a tool that just winds them in anyways

Possibly my advice is to try it as long as it turns brake calliper motor either way it will do the job
