@@Jajalaatmaar Agree, sharing information should be free but some people find a great way how to make money and once you subscribe to a page like that you get disappointed in the amount of information. Luckily, more and more people record videos about Smart maintenance.

Personally, I'm a bit skeptical about this oil change method. I always prefer to let the oil drain out, with all the contaminants that tend to sink to the bottom of the oil pan (heavier than oil) I doubt that the pump can get all the oil out. Having said that, I was surprised that the pump managed to get 3.2L out. Good job

This tutorial is made for standard oil sump, I agree that is best to have oil sump with screw in order to empty everything.

I stopped replacing the oil with the pump i mounted the sump winh the cap . Do it too . Above all , you can remove any residues

Yes, that is another option which is the best. I can´t use it due to vehicle height from the ground.

Just fit a sump with a drain plug - much quicker.

Good practise to wear gloves when changing filter as used oil is carcinogenic. No harm for DIY amateur but if doing this a lot or in professional environment it would be a definite safety concern.

I also change oil each year. Mobil 1

I had Mobile 5w30 before but found Shell better

Done that before, no issues

I first bought the same electric pump and after few seconds of use it started making smoke and stopped working so I bought a 35€ mecanical void pump on Amazon and it worked just fine for me
