How To Change Gears & When in a Manual Car

How to shift gear & when in a manual car - driving lessons for beginners www.driving-school-beckenham....
If you're new to driving a manual car, one of the most essential skills you need to learn is how to change gear. It's important to know when to change gear and how to do it properly to ensure a smooth and safe driving experience.
When to change gear does vary from car to car and it also depends on whether you're driving up or downhill plus how much weight is in your car.
Getting used to the sound of the engine and the feel of your car is important and gets better with experience.
How to change gear is equally important. In this video you'll see how to change gear using the palming method. It's the easiest way to change gear and make less mistakes.
How you change gear is not marked on the driving test but selecting the wrong gear could lead to problems.
If you're a beginner taking driving lessons & learning to drive a manual car, then this videos for you!
This video is perfect if you're learning to drive and just starting your driving lessons or need a refresher. It shows what to do with the accelerator, brake, clutch and gears.

Manual transmission is for poor people in poor countries who can only afford small engines. These days, Automatic transmission is more efficient, more reliable, and less maintenance like e-CVT in hybrid, or regular Aisin or ZF Torque converter 6,8, or 10 speeds. No clutch, no belt, just fluid change every 100k miles or 160k Km. Don't get stupid DCT (dual clutch automated manual transmission). It still needs expensive clutch replacement and many cases new robot unit/mechatronics.
