Once I got the front plastic tree/plug pried up enough, I was able to sort of unscrew it (which worked quite well) Thanks for the informative videos, I've relied a lot on them!

Great video and very helpful. I would however question the wisdom of using a flat spade bit for enlarging the hole. Better to use a stepped drill or cone.

I recently meet the same situation the snap off plug, which is pretty annoying!!!

so if i get the screws out and leave the rack off is it going to leak in,was gonna get both rails off and order some off you,great vid mr simon

Hi Robert - changes to the engine do not impact the roof... but worth checking ! The sunroof does not have any change either - although it does on other Land Rover models so again worth checking !

The scratch put in when levering that burr tree around upset me 😢
