How to change engine oil and oil filter | Mitsubishi Mirage G4 | Hatchback | Space Star | Attrage
Hello! I hope you may learn on this video and DIY your car's engine oil.
Notes from Mitsubishi Service Manual
Mitsubishi Oil Filter Part Number: MD360935, 1230A105 or equivalent.
Specified Engine Oil: Engine oils displaying the ILSAC certification symbol ("Starburst" symbol) on the container. If these oils are not available, and API classification SN or higher can be used.
Total quantity (Includes volume inside engine oil filter): 3.0 cubic decimeters (3.11 quarts)
NOTE: Mitsubishi Motors Genuine 0W-20 Synthetic Engine Oil is recommended for optimum fuel economy and cold weather starting. If Mitsubishi Motors Genuine 0W-20 Synthetic Engine Oil is
not available, 5W-20 grade oils displaying the ILSAC certification can be used.
However, Mitsubishi Motors Genuine 0W-20 Synthetic Engine Oil should be used at the next oil change to maintain optimum fuel economy and cold weather starting.

My suggestion is to 1st loosen oil fill cap, 2nd take out oil drain plug, 3rd put drain plug back in, 4th take off oil filter, 5th put new filter(oil gasket), 6th remove oil fill cap, 7th fill with correct amount of oil, 8th put oil fill cap back on, 9th warm engine and check oil level. Good luck!
Hey, my friend. I LOVE IT the old "BOX-N-BAG" style catch can. I've changed oil countless times this way and because it's in a bag you can get it into a container for disposal easier. This works extremely effective if you double bag it. NICE

You forgot to change the crush washer on the oil plug. This should be done every oil change to prevent leakage.
