Black view phones are having a major issue with large cell phone companies in USA rejecting the use of them. Black view released a code to enter in the phone to manually change your IMEI number to an old phone in your possession. It worked perfectly for me getting on the AT&T network after I was told my phone was not compatible. I used the IMEI number off my old AT&T Samsung Galaxy.

By any chance, do you have a video where you do the step by steps, or maybe show the process? Unlockmysim doesn't change your imei number. It just lets you change carrier. My LG device is blocked by At&t simply because they've decided to block LG devices from their network.

I have Realme GT neo 5 Chinese rom and convert it to the GT 3 global rom. But i just check in my carrier the is not compatible. Check in a page that the IMEI is not. Had it with T Mobile and someone told it can b used in Verizon, i changed and now dont work ether . 😢 You guys yhink this may work❔❓❓

Remember, if you change your IMEI and the moment the device connects to the internet, if your IMEI is in use with another device. Your device will go offline.

When a SIM card is inserted into an unsupported device and service gets activated or reactivated, it will send the IMEI number to the carrier. Depending on the carrier if they are strict, I believe T-Mobile is strict about it. They might say it's against TOS and your using too much bandwidth, but in reality they use that excuse in order to up sell you.

What if I assign an IMEI of a retired/dead device that has an acceptable IMEI to Verizon? I bought an android device from overseas and unfortunately, no network supports it. Can a take a working IMEI from another dead Verizon Android device and assign it? Will that work? It’s not meant for shady purposes, I just like the device.

False. GSM works on a way that HLS servers use balck/white/grey listing on every new IMEI/IMSI connection and in case its not blacklisted (stolen, reported or unpaid etc) than if there is IMEI conflict it checks if the IMSI (SIM) is OK or not, if okay than the device gets accepted to the GSM network, so there are countless (illegal) devices witht he same IMEI on the global network but with "okay" SIM cards. Although, some providers may or may not filter for extremely bizarre IMEI/IMSI pair changes and may blacklist one by time. In Asia, IMEI change is legal...

Yes, you can always restore your original IMEI by simply changing it back to the original number. It is recommended that you take a backup of your original IMEI before making any changes so that you can easily restore it if needed.
