How To CHANGE An INSERT On a PUTTER | Odyssey Example

In this video, i show and talk through the process of taking out and adding a new insert to a putter. I use odyssey putters for the demonstration as odyssey in the past have been the most likely suspects for putter inserts to need replacing either because they came loose or got damaged.
I have been using a filler to fill in the gap between the insert and the face but i dont think this does as good of a job as if you were to use black epoxy. Since making the video i have found that there is a black pigment you can add to your epoxy to change its colour and that would work much better than the filler i was using.

I'm trying this with a Wilson putter I like the look of! So far I got the outer rubber off but it looks like there's an inner layer I need to deal with too. I'm going to custom make my own insert using recycled HDPE
I think a dental pick might work, i was wondering how to get them out i can boil water👍
Where do you get a replacement insert from?
Can you link the epoxy and pigment you have used?
If anyone has to replace the white discs on top of a Odyssey 2 ball white hot putter, go to Shapeways they do 3D printing and have the Front disc and the Aft disc. Knock out the original discs and thoroughly clean the holes. Once cleaned the discs should fall into place with some crazy glue.
Use RVT around the edge
If you are looking for a quality insert at a fraction of the price I have 2 examples you can try. One is a resin insert. The other is using a polymer clay. There are many types you can mold to fit the face and sand to the correct finish.
