I just got my A1 service and both filters were dirty. I was quoted $40 for one filter. Bought cabin and engine for same price and just installed the cabin filter after watching your vid. This was very concise and helpful.

IDK if it's because I'm a girl OR WHAT but the guy told me $150 to do this and that didn't even sound right to me. Called my dad, obviously he told me to leave that place immediately lmao and he would just do it for me but I'm like "if you can, I can it can't be that hard, its a filter" so thank you for allowing me to add something I can do with my car besides change a tire lmao

Today i was in the dealer for my Accord 2022 oil change, they offer me the same as you all, cabin air filter and engine air filter change, $105 each…. That hurts bro. I will go on next week to AA or AZ and buy the parts, i will make the change myself hahahaha. Thanks for your video!!!!!!

it general its recommended to change cabin filters about every 10,000 - 15,000 miles or once a year but I usually just go off of how they look.

A lot of shops have minimum hours usually .5-2 hours labor the owners are the ones that require it not the mechanics. Now if you go to a shade tree he wouldve did it for $20 easily if you buy the filter.

For anyone with the issue I had above. That lever probably got disconnected further back into the glove box. Get a light and make sure you pop it back into place. This will allow your glove box to function properly. Comment if you need further explanation

@@hectorcadena1517 Is your still dangling loose? You have to align the 'hook' at the bottom on its bar (inside the door) and pull the leg with the hook strongly toward you until it clicks/locks into place. A little tricky but I think I've been clear. :-)

I have a 2019 accord hybrid do all the cabin filters have the cover? I feel like dealer never put it back when they check the filter.

Many people has no idea what is a cabin air filter and how important is to take care of it . Failing to replace your cabin air filter can damaged your ac condenser and confront very expensive repair .

1. My access door didn't close. I rotate so the slats goes horizontal. Closer easily 2. When putting the camper book back on, pull out towards you. These may be obvious but 1 took me 5 minutes to figure out and 2 took 3 times (A minute) to pull and click in correctly. Great vid, to the point. Cheers

I usually just go off how the filter looks but its generally recommend to change them about every 15,000 miles or once a year.

Dealership: that’ll be 65 dollars please ! Shiiiet last time they said they changed it and my ac was still coming with that dusty scent

ong that bit said $370 for oil change and air filter so i just bought the oil and filters myself and did it for all for $70 and 45min of my time.

It’s that easy 💀 Honda tried charging me 60

As uzual 50$ paid instead 150$ that Honda charge.

My dealership wanted to charge 320
