1. shaking is recommended in the introductions. 2. cleaning the nozzle often avoids build up and contamination. 3. 24hr period before getting wet and applying 2nd+ layer.

I know a lot of people trashed talked CMX when it came out but I was very impressed with it. It gave me very tight water beads and very slick. I only switched to TW Pro Graphene for its increased durability. Nice review!

awesome, how often do you have to reapply it and when you do reapply do you have to do all the steps?

What about this on the black hardtop?

After using the product may you then apply regular wax? Or must you use one of the ceramic based coatings?

Great video, I wanted to do it myself but didn't the correct way to apply the products. QQ- If applying multiple layers of coating, do you need to buff between layers?

I have a fiberglass camping trailer. I was told it has a gel coat and I should only use a water based product. It has light oxidation. Is CMX products the right products to use?

You can use ceramic spray on any external surface. I use it on the windshield and all plastic trim pieces, and over any decals. That being said, I've only used Turtle Wax Hybrid which I think is even better.

I used to use the turtle wax ceramic spray, I watched a comparison done by Project Farm and mothers lasted way longer than turtle wax

No as long as you don’t spray directly onto nearby paint. There will be slight “overspray” of the cxm that will leave a look of little white spots on black trim. It doesn’t cause any damage or marks, just an extra step to get it off. You can use this coating on trim if applied with an applicator. I have used it on glass as well and works better than rainx

Any issue with getting any of these products on the decal lettering (RUBICON) on the side of the Jeep's hood?

How's it goin ,this a great video on how to use the mother's CMX ,ceramic products , where I'm at im ready to begin with a car that's pretty new but has previously be run threw many mobile foam and wash car wahes with wax applications, right now the car is also really dirty with road grime and tons of spring pollen, where do I begin ?, I purchased all of the mother's CMX products and also the mother's clay bar kit , what do I wash the car with initially to begin the process of applying the mother's ceramic coating ?, so what soap should I use first and should I clay bar the car with mother's clay bar kit ,which I think has never been done yet , I'm ready to get goin, just don't know where to start and start with , an you get back to me a.s.a.p. , its as perfect day for me to do this in the yard , thank you much , john R.

Start by washing your car using any soap/foamy wash doesn't have to specific. whats important are the next steps. After the wash, you'll need to use the clay alongside any lubricant (can be a detailer or just water) to decontaminate and remove the layer of grim that'd get between the coat and the paint (you need perfect contact between ceramic coat and paint). Cut your clay in half so it can be used twice, and constantly fold it so the tiny particles don't rub against the paint. once done with claying, if theres swirls on your paint (check with a flashlight or they're sometimes very visible) use a compound first, personally id go for the meguiars ultimate polish and compound, they do the job for most vehicles. once you're done with these steps (compound +polish) you can move on to the cmx equipment. you'd want your paint in perfect condition before applying the cmx surface prep using any good applicator pad and then the spray coating, which will entirely restore your paint. P.S im not an expert but these are all the steps you'd need to completely restore your paint. hope it helps

Water test shows no much better thsn other brand

Regarding CMX 3 in 1: The product sucks! I read about it being difficult to buff and its absolute true, at least without diluting it. Remembers me of Carlack, hard stuff to buff off without using a machine. I spayed water; used an apc an even then, the panels were full of white haze. Need some more testing with less quantity and maybe dilution but I warn you guys, if you're looking for something easy to apply and buff off, don't make my mistake - look somewhere else! I regret the money spent.

I use chemical guys cleaners, easy to use, different types of cleaners, washes, waxes, including ceramic, I've used them for my last Jeep and now for my 4Xe Rubi.

This is nothing new. Product back in the late 90's and 2000's another system with claims as these was sold in auto dealerships all including this one is all hype marketing i worked for a major automotive company as a tech rep our company did a study thru our lab and it was nothing more than a quality wax Time will prove my claim is correct If you want proof visit a body shop or an automotive paint supply dealer and ask what they use to remove it in order to paint They use the same prep solvent used on all vehicles that have normal wax use for protection so think how good can this be waste your money and learn the hard way

I find cmx product is not good at all . Wasting money and time . Sorry
