I honestly think it might be random- I got 2 quick hook ups at night with the high peak early in the night- but my tackle was too weak and it wouldn’t let me reel the thing for more than a few minutes- so I left upgraded my tackle came back to the exact same night, same weather, same time and NOTHING. Going in like 6 days in game now if all different times and no bites

It took me a while of experiments etc but try with float rods and bottom rods both in the water sometimes they bite quicker on floats

Ok so I upgraded my rod to the fenix, the real to the attorney and the line to trophy 30lb braid- went thru 8-9 days in game high peak at night at 930pm again. The stupid fish nibbled for an entire hour- could only feel the vibrations holding the controller- switched my hook to #5/0 and hooked into it next night same weather and peak 3 times and it STILL said the fish was too strong even though I let it drag me in my kayak. So my only thought is maybe my leader was too weak- since everything else is rated close to the pounds for this fish. Giving it another go. Have to fish through 7more days in game 😞

@@revahudson-gc4vq remember when using a leader don't max out drag or atleast keep your line in the yellow eventually the fish will get tired while in the kayak be safe and don't make your drag too tight

I really cant seem to get it ive waited 7 real life hours and 8 in game days then the next day i waited 3 hours for 5 ingame day and im doing everything what your doing😢

Just set the time with temperature to 10°C it and use one rod with floater it works 100%, thank me later

For me temperature didn't really matter haha 😅 it's best to find which part of the days rather than temperature because they're always changing it

It was from a mission I can't remember but a normal 4/0 hook will work you don't need the Xseries one..the X series just gives little more xp bro so don't worry . Please Subscribe also it will mean alot ❤

One time I got 4 zombie cat fishes (monster cat fish) on 4 different rods then after I got the monster again but I can’t catch any other monster again. It may work
