As a visualy impaired angler, this is exactly why I find carp fishing difficult. Light lure fishing is my go to really Never back down to a challenge though, I'll be trying for the carp again at some point. Cheers for all the hints and tips guys.
Alex deffo had a joint before he went fishing 😂😂😂

Thanks a lot! Another aspect is to fish on the right side of a lake. In Spring you should fish the bank on which the sun shines :)

How did it go?
Worth it for the strange webs Alex weaves by accident then has no idea how to get out of, as soon as we went down the “sense of smell” road I was a bit disappointed Carl helped him put the breaks on it lol.
Never realized how finicky carp could be until I started trying to fish for them..
My KZread is bugging out so I can’t watch this for some reason but I’m sure it’s good

Great vlog lads what polaroids are they please
What are you tinking about mix of swet corn ,craset boils , halved boilies ,whole boilies, taiger nut (not to mach),barley and hemp for fiding in this time ?
If you don’t want the hassle of a zig rig just stick on a float with a. Bit of corn had carp on that many times especially on the warm days
Love this, taking notes as we speak, new video on the main channel today too? Can never have too much Carl and Alex!

Will you ever cover cage feeder fishing?
*inhales* Ah yes, nothing like the fresh smell of carp
If you can smell carp had me in stitches 🤣
I can’t smell carp but sometimes on the rivers you get a funny smell before you start catching lots of bream
Brawo👍
Would we recommend a zig rig for a pit around 16-18ft deep?👀
Just came across a lot of them, some looked 3-4ft long, nearly beaching themselves on a natural dam trying to mate I guess. Nothing I had got them to bite. I think they were too busy
We are so fast boys

Hi Stephen, they are the Korda Classic Sunglasses :)

What's the Brand of the Polarized glasses?? Lookin nice
Hi Carl and Alex! What polarised glasses would you recommend?

We've got the Korda Classics :)
I fish a deep quarry and want to use your tips with corn and crushed boilies. How would you get it out at distance? Alex threw some in but that's not always possible.

Using a 'Spod' or 'Spom' is a good way :) or a catapult can work ok too, but can be less accurate.
@fishingtutorials
2 жыл бұрын
Working on a how to spom video atm - should be out soon!
Hats should have a black underbrim, wear polarized glasses (amber or yellow) and wear a neck gaiter(buff) Wear it right up to your eyes to block any light you can...now you can see in the water better. My net smells like carp...once in a while I can get a whiff of them down at the river too, but thats not a good way to track them. Carp follow the weather..if its hot, they go deeper...sometimes they sun themselves too. They are always near weeds. Tastes great, less filling?
Wish I watched this before my epic blank today 😅
Hello Carl and Alex, may I get the brand name and the model of your sunglasses? Those look dope!

Smelling Carp, Small intimate waters where carp feed in the margins, amongst weed or silt - you can smell them out ;-)
Hi carl! Hi alex! I just wanted to ask If u had anymore advise? Only because me (Aaron) and my dad (Martin) went fishing yesterday and did all of this and still didnt catch. We have both been blancking since November and are getting quite annoyed now. Thanks! Aaron!
Get a Carl and Alex hat, eat rice krispies. Ready to catch a carp.

Great vid as usual guys and it's nice to see Alex in front of the camera. However I think you should start writing a script before you start because the poor lad seems to have problems putting his thoughts into words. In fact forget that because it's much more entertaining watching him fumble his way through it. Lol.
I dont know if y’all made a video about this. But how do you find fish in rivers of 10 meters. Because i dont know where to start

And with fish i mean carp
Another good tip for spring is to strip off then run around the lake shouting ‘Gweneth Paltrows Vauxhall Meriva’ at the top of your voice. Usually you’ll have the lake to yourself after doing this.
