Nothing wrong with hitting that RESET button. I like ALL the filters off and then I generally run + / - by 10 on the gain, just to see how blowed out and how dark it'll get... then I settle in with +/- 0-4 from the default settings. Makes me happy happy happy.

As as the pollen goes in my experience emerald and color limit are your friend.

Agreed, GG has a video out about this. I bumped up color limit to ~30, noise reject low, and use black emerald or moss and it has helped with the pollen.

Out at longer ranges the crappie almost look like a vertical line and then as I get closer they turn into a round blob. (Running the 34). I’ve also learned they typically just suspend and don’t swim around s as fast as some other species like white perch and bluegill that can appear to look like crappie at first.

Pollen issues I start to bump up the color limit still it starts to clear up

It seems to me when there is a lot of pollen that the angle of the sun can make your image worse. Sun to your back seems better than in your face. Also the early morning sun is worse than later in the day. Could just be my old eyes.

There is no PERFECT SETTING , You start at a Base ,Basic Starting point and adjust from There, mostly Gain And Color Gain, I use the Lvs32 , search at 40ft and fish at 20ft in these Pascagoula River Basin shallow oxbows They average around 10 ft at the deepest in the Ones I Most frequently use , Color Gain usually 72/82 ,,Gain from 60/72. Tvg Off, ghost off , Noise usually Off but if I'm dealing with pollen or sediment I will Use Noise on low , Amber 99% of the time, Keep it in mind IF you change color palettes the settings WILL VARY some as well , you may have to turn the gain Up Or down or color gain Up Or down to get the picture you want, My advice is if it ain't Broke don't fix it Use what works for you, Videos are filtered as they're recorded it's in the technology to filter it, Find a Cover of some sort, Tree top, Dock whatever point your transducer At It and adjust, Play with the settings. Drop your Jig in and play with the settings, the More time you spend on the water with your unit the better your gonna Be,, that's the Best I Got for anyone just starting out,, tight lines y'all 💦🐟💦🐡🎣🤠🇺🇸
