I usually look for a part of the creek that connected closer to a bigger body of water.

In this case it is the creek connected to a small spillway of a lake, so when the water gets to high it rolls over in this creek, and basically the fish become trapped in the creek!

This looks a lot like the spillway on 346 below Lake Tyler.

What part of the 903 are you from im also a east Texan I mainly fish lake Palestine.

Thats all I fish is a small creek and I burn them up as long as ita warm out and ive never had much luck off of the stink baits ive wasted alot of money on it over the years only got a couple cats my whole life off the stink baits

When there is little current, I love using stink bait. I have caught most of my catfish on stink bait in my life.

@@903fishing go check it out definitely if you got a kayak. You can get in under this bridge right on the border of denison/bells tx (north texas) can ride down the creek and go one way to the red river or you can go up stream across texas. Big gar and big cat fish. Even striper closer to the river you get.
