Very good job! I hate that most manufacturers put the cabin filter where you now have to take off the glove box lid, ridiculous! I'm amazed of the condition of the Astra; where I am in upstate New York, with the similar year and mileage, the vehicle would be a rust bucket!

I serviced a 2013 Astra 2ltr who ever decided to put the oil filter on the side I had to have the bloody wheel of and a 32mm low profile socket. and whoever serviced last put the so plug on with an impact couldn't get it off so sucked it with my pump. great video.

Vauxhall have a service fix for the fuel filter, as it is possible to wrench the plastic filter housing out of the plastic fuel tank if it is tight. On this video you can see it flexing. The fix is a bit of wood between the filter housing and the tank to prevent it bending/flexing. When I did mine I thought this is risky, plastic into a plastic tank. Later read the service bulletin Appreciate the videos, particularly the timing chain... My next job😢

Thanks, I haven’t done the thermostat and dont need to. I covered topping up the oil in the chain replacement video. That should cover everything you need to change the oil in the gearbox.

I replaced the whole return pipe (T) and removed air from the system, now it won't start. What could be the problem

Check for air again, and keep cycling the pump. Make sure you have a good battery and keep cranking.

C3 is not a low SAPS oil,,Its a mid SAPS,,,C1 or C2 is low SAPS,,Also C4 is a Renault Peugeot spec low SAPS,,

Depends on garage, most will do small items like bulbs etc. but everything else would be chargeable.

Hey, let me know how did it start the car after the fuel filter change. Any tips? I had issue starting it after...

Just lots and lots of key on and off, fuel pump will prime, just give it time.

Maybe wash it??? Also what was the EML ?
