Waterproof spray waterproofs the suede & leather, the cleaner cleans the shoes
Apply the cork sealer every 3 months or at least 1 x per year after you purchase them …. to keep them in the best shape. I believe there are other brands of cork sealer out there which are a little more budget friendly (but compare ingredients to the Birkenstock brand first). Most importantly keep your Birkenstock’s away from water (cork will breakdown if it gets wet), or high heat (because you risk the glue on the soles melting or thinning out).

Treat the same as leather shoes because leather
How it works with sand and water?
How can you get oil stains and smell out of the cork
Never used the brush??
Latex glue is the best footbed sealant and strengthener. Not a surprise because the footbed is cork+ latex. The real challenge is finding latex glue in Europe and America. Latex glue is basically liquid rubber, when it sets, it seals and protects.
How to get oil and smell out of cork
Hi there! I need some advise from you. The footbed (corks) of my Birks are no longer sticking to the actual rubber and to the strap. I got some advise from some shoe repair shops to just sew it instead. Is it advisable? Do you have a better suggestions?

Hmm, sounds tough. We would need to see some photos of the issue to better help. You can message us on Instagram or Facebook, or email support@wholeearthprovision.com to get started. If you email, write “Question for Social Media about Birkenstock’s” in the subject line and the support team can forward it to us. Thank you!

To be honest, same. Those were the days!
I got the cork sealer on my footbed of my shoe.. please tell me I didn’t ruin them?

They shouldn’t be ruined, but if it has dried, you might have a hard time washing it off. We would recommend wiping it off with a wet cloth if it’s still wet. There’s a possibility you could peel it off that spot after it dries, but do so at your discretion, you wouldn’t want to damage or tear the footbed material (suede or leather).
seriously, $10.00 for a toothbrush?
He’s cuuuuuuute
Do we put them on new birkies?
@wholeearthprov

No! New Birkenstocks are already sealed. That cork sealer will just degrade over time so it’s good to re-treat your cork with it from time to time.
