Thank you so much. I have never really paid attention to the feeding as I don't intend to sell my horses, but it would be nice to have them at 100% health. I currently only feed them oats, but I guess that will be changing now. Again, thank you very much.🐎🐎🐎

So do you have to feed them sorghum and oats or either one and hay or do you need to give them both base food

Hello Barry, I apologize if my video was unclear on this point. Horse have two categories of food (base and hay). Both categories much have some volume within them to be at the 100% mark. Hay will fulfill the hay category and either oats or sorghum will fulfill the base category. You can use either exclusively or in combination with each other to fulfill that base category. You just have to be aware that the totals of both the base and hay category cannot go beyond the total capacity allowed in the pasture/barn being used. I hope this clears it up.
