I did some firework shots vids and pics on July 4 this year (Detroit by the river) with my Mini 2 they came out pretty good but i just did it in auto mode , next time ill use my Mini 3 and mess around in manual mode to improve it

Gavin, I would like to obtain the look of the long exposure photo, but I think I need a video of the entire fireworks show. Is there a way to obtain that look in a photo from only video footage? Maybe you pull multiple stills from the video and stack them? I am not sure. Thanks.

Night mode is a weird one in the mini 4 pro - I’ll need to test more but for the life of me I can’t tell a difference 😂

Were you worried about keeping the white balance on auto at all? With that constantly changing did you notice any detrimental effects?

Amazing video. Big thanks! Would that same setting (the 2 second exposure) help capture Aurora? I've captured Aurora using my phone in night mode with 3 second exposure, you think the drone would be able to do the same?

I would stick with auto , by the time you have manually focussed it the firework will be gone

I used your settings for photos with one exception I went with 1.6” shutter… Even at 1.6” the finale was too bright and I wasn’t able to capture nothing more than blown out bright light….
